Paleomythic

Deep Time Series #1

Coming in the fall of 2026

"Sit with me in this oldest of traditions. Let me show you how your world began."

The cover
of Paleomythic. The moon shines down on dark water; there is a swirl
of ripples on its trail of light; palm trees stand in the foreground
and on a headland visible on the left. On the right, a little above
the horizon, are two points of light.

Since the dawn of this planet, the Moon has seen everything: the continents that tore themselves apart, the oceans that were born and died, the slow grinding of tectonic plates and the sudden fire of mass extinction. She saw the asteroids come and the dinosaurs fall. She saw every catastrophe, every transformation, every choice ever made by the great forces that shaped our world.

She could have spoken sooner. She never did.

Seventeen stories. 4.5 billion years. The questions humanity has always asked — why do the continents move, where did fire come from, what caused the last mass extinction and what will become of us during the next — answered at last by the witness who remembers it all.

The Moon has always known the stories. She was never willing to tell... until now.
